New ACEO - Shinrin Yoku

Shinrin Yoku means "forest bathing" and is the act of getting into nature and experiencing the forest for the benefit of your body, mind and soul. You can almost experience the breath of fresh air kitty here is enjoying! I hope this painting gives you a sense of calm and enjoyment.

Rockabilly Pinup WIP

Here's a lovely lady I'm painting for an art challenge - the theme is pinup/rockabilly/tattoo. As you can see I'm working all three themes into the painting! (the flower pasties were added digitally because I posted this to Facebook and Instagram and they don't allow nudity. I'll post an uncensored picture when I'm done.)

New ACEO - Cheshire cat

This ACEO is now available for bids at the Rabbit Hole Artist Collective's Tim Burton auction. Starting bid $35 with a BIN of $50. Click here to go to the facebook link and leave a comment with your bid if you're interested. Thanks for looking!

Alice and the Cheshire Cat ACEO done!

This is finished. It's for the Rabbit Hole Artist Collective's May auction and show - I'll post a link to the auction when it goes live in a few days. It's ACEO size - this picture is actually larger than life.

Alice and Cheshire cat ACEO

Here's some progress pictures of an ACEO I'm working on for the Rabbit Hole Artist Collective's may auction and show. The theme this month was Tim Burton.

Little more work on the cheshire cat, almost done!

Now I just have to paint the tea cup, add blue stripes and highlights to the Cheshire cat, embellish the lace, darken the tabby and add highlights allover.

WIP St. Sesshoumaru

Other than a few compositional tweaks, this is done. This is pretty complicated, can't wait to dive in with the color!

New Painting up on Ebay

I've listed my painting of Sesshoumaru on Ebay. I won't be offering any prints of this painting, so if you're interested in purchase it will be a one of a kind. Bidding starts at $125, $25 off regular price. Thanks for looking!

Zazzle Merchandise!

I've just released several of my most popular photographs of my cat Sesshoumaru (as picked by my Instagram followers - thank you!) on merchandise in my Zazzle store. More to come soon so come back often! I have mugs, magnets, greeting cards and iPhone 5 cases available right now. These are all customizable so you can add your own text - perhaps your name, or a favorite quote or saying.

Original Acrylic Painting - Sesshoumaru

Here's a link to this month's Rabbit Hole Collect art auction. The theme was Emotions. Click here to see all the art (more will be added soon) and to bid on this painting.

Teaser

Here's a teaser for my latest painting which will be up for auction on the Rabbit Hole Artist Collective's Facebook page later today. The theme was emotions and this is Anxiety. It's also a very beautiful portrait of my cat, Sesshoumaru. The painting measures 4x6 and is acrylic on watercolor paper. Bidding will start at $125. I'll post a link to the auction when it's live. (this is a crop; frame and text do not appear on the actual painting)

Tabby Rainbow Bridge ACEO commission

Here's an ACEO commission I'm working on, a nice blend between my more humorous work and realistic. Sorry for the fuzzy picture, it was taken with my ipod. I don't usually tape the edges of my ACEOs, but the person I'm painting this for wants the option of being able to frame it so I'll leave a 1/4 edge unpainted around the sides.

Fairy Wing Tutorial

Coming soon - a tutorial for my method of painting fairy wings. The method is fairly simple yet the results are impressive, and you can personalize them is so many different ways!

Phoenix Uchikake

Up on ebay now - my Phoenix Uchikake Courtesan Kitty! Click to bid and thanks for looking!

New ACEO - Easter Bunny Fairies!

Just listed these cute bunnies on ebay. I really tried to push the colors on this one and make them pop. The scan is a bit washed out but I took a photo with my phone to show off the gold and the colors look more true to life in that.

New ACEO - out of their element!

Here's a cute painting of a little mercat with a friend perched on his head. I love painting shells and water! I wanted the octopus to look cute without looking too goofy, and I think I accomplished that!
Just posted in my Etsy store - take a look!

I also have this teacup kitty ACEO up:

This photo was taken before I trimmed the card. I'm having so much fun these days posting my artwork as I paint it! The work in progress pictures all go to my Instagram account. Click here to see all my recent work!
