Welcome to my art blog! Make sure to check back often, there will be new artwork up for sale weekly. Mostly Ukiyoe inspired critters, but all sorts of other stuff too.....
Boy, did this turn out gorgeous. The mums I drew from life - I received a tiny potted mum on Mother's day and planted it out in the garden. It grew all summer, and is just starting to bloom - just in time for snow! They're hardy though, it will last until the temps start staying a few degrees below freezing. I can't believe there is so much halloween art up on ebay already! I know a lot of you love halloween but it's not my favorite holiday. I guess I'm a true child of the light! But I can do spooky so here's a spooky kitty for you. Spooky, but still very cute of course. =(^..^)= Clicky to bid and thanks for looking!
Didn't paint much last week because I was working a lot of hours. Hopefully things will pick up this week! Here's my first of the week - a zen pond koi cat. Click to bid and thanks for looking!
Sorry this is so early. It should have gone up yesterday but for some reason I couldn't get ebay's sale feature to work (the problem was on my end - a quick reboot solved the problem). Anyway, here are some romantically inclinced catterflies! Click to bid and thanks for looking!
I'll have another painting to post this afternoon, so stay tuned!
It's so much fun to play around with Japanese Kanji. When I went to look up the kanji for strawberry, I was amused to see it looks just like one! This little painting depicts a kudamonoya, or fruit shop in Japan. Click to bid and thanks for looking!
Hello everyone! We were away camping last week. Had a great time, did some swimming and hiking and lots of sitting around the campfire. I'm back to work now, so here's my first of the week (beach theme of course!) Click to bid and thanks for looking!!!
I'm really pleased with the way the kimono design turned out - which is good because the painting was built around the idea of the kanji picked out in flowers. I'm having fun incorporating kanji in non-obvious ways into my paintings. Click to bid, and thanks for looking!
OMG Ponies! Inspired by a book called The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. If you like fantasy, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK! I'm shocked I missed it when I was a kid. click to bid and thanks for looking!
